This grand suite overlooking one of Mdina’s most picturesque piazzas is a regal room adorned with antique furniture – from a seventeenth century dining table for six persons to a period writing table, an antique chest of drawers and an imposing gilded mirror of impressive dimensions. All this is expertly complimented by carefully selected soft furnishings and drapes, comfortable sofas and arm chairs, old lamps and original works of art.
The magical sensation of Mdina is immediately felt when one steps out onto the balcony – typical of palazzos built in the 17th century opposite the astounding Vilhena Palace facade which once housed the Maltese Law Courts.
